The Richmond Players Book

A wonderful and unique record of Richmond FC and its players from 1986-1999

After some six months of scanning, editing, spotting, identifying and all the other things I need to do to prepare a series of photographs for another book, I am now proof-reading book itself.

I have managed (with help from Mike Hutton and others) to identify 115 different Richmond players and staff from a 15 year period 1986-1999, and a selection of these photos are presented here. This is probably the final choice of 258 photographs from 32 matches and tournaments

The book will be a great memory of an exciting period in the life of Richmond Football Club.

The making and publishing of these books help me to pay for the scanning  editing and all the other work required to digitise my Fleet Street Rugby archive. When completed it will have the photographs from over 600 matches in a twenty year period, one of the largest independent atchives of its type in existence. You can be a part of that experience.
