This John Player Cup match was a difficult one for me. I got bumped or knock - I can't recall the details and my camera and 300mm F2.8 went flying, and inevitably, not only was the equipemt covered in mud, but more importantly the lens was broken.  I only had one other lens with me - a standard 50mm.

Wasps beat Park 23-10 in a difficult game heavy with mud. There were a few tries (kicking nigh on impossible)  Huw Davies grabbing a couple, and I think Dickie Cardus got another.  The last try was by Lee Adamson at the end of the match (I think)..

The lens was taken around to Canon's Neasden base on Monday morning, and repaired ready for the next battle the following Saturday.
