Throughout the early 1980s I covered a lot of mini rugby in addition to the senior rugby I was doing for Fleet Street etc.

I started covering the Minis when I was still a player at Ruislip Rugby Club in the late 1970s, and I was soon doing an regular column for Rugby News Magazine.

Not sure what this articular presentation was  although the trophies clearly show this was a Middlesex RFU competition, and Peter Yarrington was presenting the prizes. Was this at Repton Avenue? to be honest I am not sure and it is quite probable that this was somewhere else. Saracens, Ruislip are two possibilities as both were very strong Mini hosts. Perhaps someone out there remembers?
